Clinical Evaluation of Caroverine-Sulpyrine (Spamon^(¢ç)-comp. Inj. Tab.) on Pain of Urinary System




Abstract
To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Caroverine-Suipyrine (Spamon¢ç-comp.), a total 52 patients were collected in our Department during 2 months period from August 1987 through October 1987.¢¥They were consisted of 24 ureteral stones, 3 orchialgia and 25 patients on pain occurred by urologic procedures.
Caroverine-Sulpyrine (Spamon¢ç-comp.) was given at dose of 6 tablets or 3 amples per day over a period of 1 to 15 days. The effectiveness was assessed by 4 subjective decision: Excellent, Good, Medium and Ineffective.
The result and Ineffective.
1. Of 24 ureteral stones, the analgetic effect on 6 patients (25%) proved excellent, on 11 patients (45.8%)
good, on 4 patients (16.7%) medium and 3 patients (12.5%) ineffective.
2. Of 8 patients after cystoscopy, 7 patients (87.5%) proved effective.
3. Of 12 patients after urethral catheterization, 11 patients (91.7%) proved effective. 4. Of 5 patients after cystostomy, all of them proved effective.
5. Of 3 orchialgia, 2 patients (66.6%) proved effective.
6. There was no serious side reactions except feeling of thirst in 2 cases, skin rash and vomiting in 1 case respectively.
